Sport Travel Academy

For first time Sport Travel Academy visited Madrid with a group of 20 students from The University of Manchester (USA) by Events GB hand. During this week the group enjoyed not only the great capital of Spain visiting different sports venues but also having some lectures on the sport management field. Among the venues visited were Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid Stadium and Wanda Metropolitano – Atletico de Madrid Stadium.

The 3rd World Association for Sport Management Conference

In October 2019 took place the 3rd WASM Conference in Santiago de Chile. This was the second time that Events GB organized the international conference, counting with renowned keynote speakers like Patrick Nally,acknowledged as the ‘founding father’ of modern sports marketing.

The 27th European Association for Sport Management Conference

Seville, in the south of Spain, was the host city for this edition of this international annual conference. The EASM together with Events GB worked hard organizing this great event for delegates coming from all around the world, which had more than 500 attendees.

The International Association of Physical Education and Sports for Girls and Women Regional Congress

This International Association on Women in Sports trusts Events GB for organizing its last Regional Congress coinciding with its 70 year anniversary, which we hosted in hand by hand with Universidad Europea de Madrid in July 2019. We counted with remarkable keynote speakers in the field such Darlene A. Kluka, Tansin Benn or Chris Shelton, among others.

The International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport Annual Congress

The 2019 ISHPES International Congress: Milestones in the Histories of Sport and Physical Culture was organized by Events GB in partnership with the Universidad Europea de Madrid in July.

Taking advantage of the IAPESGW Regional Congress and the ISHPES Annual Congress were celebrated in Madrid one after the other, the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICCSPE) Board had a meeting with Events GB collaboration.

Innovative Sport Business Week in Madrid for King Abdulaziz University

Second time that Events GB prepare a taylor made program for a group of 20 students of Jeddah combining lectures and visits to sport venues such as, Bernabéu Stadium Tour & Museum, Ciudad del Fútbol or Microsoft Global Sports Innovation Center.

10th EASM Summer School

The EASM Summer School is one week EASM event for students and practitioners to enrich their degree with new insights in the field of International Sport Management and Marketing. Participants have the chance to build up their own international network within the sport business and to make new friends from all over the world. The EASM Summer School usually organized in Madrid and supported by the academic program that Sport Management Academy in Bayreuth elaborate, deliver students a wonderful chance to experience a hotspot for Sport Management with two huge football brands in town and a great opportunity to enjoy academic and social highlights (ticket for matches, visit La Liga headquarters, visit sport venues, ect.) The 10th edition was one of the biggest with more than 80 students coming from all over the world.

5th Madrid Weekender

Madrid Weekender is an annual event for undergraduate and graduate international students organized by Events GB in the capital of Spain. The program is thought for broaden their knowledge in Sports Event Management as well as to increase their international networking while exploring and enjoying one of the most vibrant city in Europe, Madrid. Some of the activities included are attend some Tennis Mutua Madrid Open matches, watch at the stadium Real Madrid or Atletico de Madrid football match, sport management lectures and visit sports’ venues, among others. For first time we count with the participation, between other universities, of the University of South Carolina with 15 students and 2 staff members

The 6th National Strength and Conditioning Association International Conference

For first time one of the most important associations in the strength and personal training area trust in Events GB for organizing their 6th International Conference this time, in Madrid. The event counted with workshops given by David Marchante or Nacho Coque who are well known experts in the sport and fitness fields.

9th EASM Summer School

After 8 editions of this one-week in sport management based event organised in Bayreuth (Germany), it came this year for first time to Madrid by Events GB hand. The record of participant was broken for first time with 60 international students.

The Madrid Weekender annual event combines Sport Events, Learning & Leisure for international students. This edition counted with the lecture of Celia Morales, the director of Area VIP of the Real Madrid.

V Congress of “Asociación Latinoamericana de Gerencia Deportiva”

The 5th edition of ALGEDE congress was hosted in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Delegates and experts from around the globe met in the Latin-American city to exchange their knowledge about the congress theme: Towards professionalization of sport management in new world countries.

2nd Madrid Weekender

The Madrid Weekender even combines Sport Events, Learning & Leisure for students all around Europe. This 2nd edition had attendees from Croatia, Germany and Great Britain that came to experience Madrid. The program included Mutua Madrid Open matches, Bernabéu Stadium Tour, ticket for Real Madrid match or different social events, among others. On the learning side, Kevin Roberts from Sport Business International, Alfonso Roberes de Cominges from Real Madrid CF and Rene Kohr from Bwin were the ones in charge of giving the lectures to the students.

Taylor made Trip Madrid – University of Ostfalia (Germany)

More than 20 students of the Faculty of Transport, Sport, Tourism and Media came to enjoy different activities such as: visit the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the Caja Mágica, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium or participate in lectures and a Masterclass at the Real Madrid School of Studies and the Universidad Europea de Madrid, 26-31 October, 2015.

Taylor made Trip for Molde Folkehogskole

A special event designed for a group of Sport Management students from Norway. They played a friendly football match against a local team, visited the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and watched the exciting Real Madrid – F.C. Barcelona match, 18-24 November, 2015.

International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education 2015 Conference

AIESEP 2015 Conference was celebrated in Universidad Europea de Madrid between 8th – 11th July. It has the participation of 350 delegates from all over the world and the lecture of prestigious Steven Blair as one of the main keynote speakers.

The 6th Sport Business Symposium – Buenos Aires

The 6th International Sport Business Symposium took place on the 3rd and 4th of September 2013, at the Faculty of Economics, University of Buenos Aires. It was organised by Events GB in collaboration with Professor Holger Preuss from the University Johannes Gutenberg, in Mainz. This attractive international event aimed to bring together experts from the Sport Industry and Business sector so they could share their extensive experience within this area.

London Olympic Games – Human Resources for Cleanevent

Events GB collaborate with Cleanevent to select 100 people to work as building managers and housekeeping team leaders to oversee the cleaning of the Olympic Village, where athletes stayed, during the Olympic and Paralympics Games in London 2012.

I Forum Empresa, Deporte y Negocios

During the Master Series Madrid, a group of 100 entrepreneurs of the sports industry had the opportunity to attend great lectures organized by Events GB and given by well known speakers as Alex Corretja, ex tennis player, or Pilar Jerico, a famous keynote speaker. In addition, we gave them also tickets for the tennis tournament in privileged seats.
